Scott: Scott has always been interested in sports of all sorts, but especially ice hockey, in which he coached a youth team for several years. He also enjoys golf and running. On weekends, if there are any local kids' sporting events going on, he’ll take Jack and Lauren on walks down to watch for a while no matter what age group or level. At home, Scott enjoys cooking, especially grilling in the summer. In the evenings, Scott is often in charge of bath time for Lauren. We haven’t decided which of the two has more fun splashing around. When another little one is added in, they may never leave the tub!
Sandy: Sandy also enjoys running and is often seen in the neighborhood with Lauren in the jogging stroller. She also enjoys yoga class and is passionate about doing a variety of needlecrafts and sewing, mostly quilting and home decorating. Since staying home with Lauren, Sandy has started a small at-home business selling her handmade baby and toddler accessories. It allows her to do something she loves while giving the flexibility to be home and available for her top priority, her family.
Lauren: Lauren attends preschool 3 mornings a week and loves it! Sandy and Lauren often enjoy programs at the library or gym or going on outings with friends. Many summer days are spent at the neighborhood pool. She also enjoys lots of playtime at home.
Vacations: Our vacations are often spent around water, either at Sandy’s parents along the Gulf coast of Florida or at the many shores along the east coast. Sandy grew up with her summers spent at the Jersey shore and Scott spent his vacations camping, visiting historical places, and going to the shore. We plan to share similar experiences with our children.
